About
Twig Fertility is a modern, patient-first fertility clinic operating across Canada, with two Toronto locations (its flagship clinic in Midtown at 313 Eglinton Avenue West and a downtown satellite in the PATH at the Exchange Tower) and a full-service Vancouver clinic in Fairview that opened in 2025. Co-founded in 2020 by Tanner Kohara, Zach Shapiro, and reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Rhonda Zwingerman — who went through IVF herself — Twig is an Ontario Fertility Program (OFP) approved clinic offering government-funded IVF cycles with no waitlist for eligible Ontario residents. The clinic provides a complete range of fertility services including IVF (from $13,500 per cycle), IUI, egg freezing (from $8,600), sperm freezing, reciprocal IVF for LGBT2SQ+ couples, donor sperm and donor egg pathways, gestational surrogacy, preimplantation genetic testing, early pregnancy care to 10 weeks, and reproductive urology with Dr. Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Twig's tech-enabled embryology lab uses Fairtility's CHLOE AI platform for embryo and egg quality insights, time-lapse incubation, the LifeAire air filtration system, and 24/7 environmental monitoring. The team includes seven REI specialists, a dedicated urologist, three in-house genetic counsellors, and integrated wellness services through their Flourish x Twig partnership (naturopathic care, acupuncture, pelvic floor physiotherapy, nutrition, social work). Twig is a designated trans-affirming, LGBT2SQ+ inclusive practice, partners with Progyny and Carrot Fertility for employer benefits, accepts the Ontario Fertility Treatment Tax Credit, and offers humm financing up to $30,000 — making it one of the more transparent, design-forward, and accessible fertility clinics in the GTA and now Western Canada.
