About
CReATe Fertility Centre is one of the longest-running and largest fertility clinics in Canada, with a downtown Toronto headquarters at 790 Bay Street and three satellite locations across Ontario in Etobicoke (CReATe West), Oshawa (CReATe Durham), and London. Founded by Dr. Clifford Librach — past president of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society — the clinic offers a full range of fertility services including IVF, IUI, elective and medical egg freezing, embryo and sperm donation, and gestational carrier (surrogacy) programs that are among the most established in the country. CReATe also runs the largest in-house genetics program in Canada, with PGT-A, PGT-M, and PGT-SR all performed on-site, and operates the country's largest cancer fertility preservation (oncofertility) program.
The clinic participates in the Ontario Fertility Program for both funded IVF and IUI, publishes a detailed fee schedule (private IVF starts at $9,000), and offers monthly financing through Beautifi. Patients can also benefit from Ontario's new Refundable Fertility Tax Credit. Five clinical physicians — all University of Toronto faculty — lead care, supported by an in-house andrology lab, embryology team, geneticists, and counsellors.
CReATe is positioned as a global leader for LGBTQ2+ family building, with dedicated care pathways for same-sex couples, single parents (including a free monthly 'On Our Own' support group), and transgender individuals. The clinic holds Accreditation Canada Exemplary Standing and uses EmbryoScope time-lapse imaging in its lab.
